Happy Toast was born in 2010 when Andy and Sarah Churcher set out to create the kind of bakery they’d always wished was on their doorstep — somewhere warm, welcoming, and full of the smell of freshly baked bread.
What started as a small venture in Hedge End has grown into a beloved local favourite, known for our artisan sourdough, legendary sausage rolls, and the kind of toasties that keep people coming back week after week.
We’re also big believers in balance. There’s a place for the indulgent chocolate croissant and the vibrant, veg-packed salad — nothing is off-limits here. It’s about quality, a little moderation, and enjoying every single bite.
